This is just a sneak preview of Amaya's laughs. I started recording just as her laughs were winding down. And is it just me, or are her laughs the greastest sound in the world?

Amaya and her cousins!

This past weekend, Amaya's cousin Ashley turned 2! So we went over to celebrate, and it was a very special occasion because all of Amaya's cousins were there!

From Left to Right: The most left boy is not Amaya's cousin, and I'm not sure his name. But next: Gael, Lisset, Ashley [behind], Itzel, Mayte, Amaya, Jeffrey, and Roxanna.

It was a really nice weekend here in Philadelphia, and we did our best to enjoy it to the fullest with Amaya's first trip to the PLAYGROUND!

konnichi-wa!

Amaya is about to cross over into the six month threshold, which for whatever reason has been built up in my mind as this momentous time. Maybe it's kind of like how I turned 25, being closer to 30 than 20. And as she turns six months Amaya is making all kinds of milestones: sitting up on her own, starting solids, her two bottom teeth, finding her feet and hands, and all kinds of other things.

She's also turning into a comedian. These days Amaya has taken to just tilting her head to the side especially if you tilt your own head towards her, she'll copy you. It's so funny. Along with that she's been doing this funny thing with her lips. It's kind of like blubbering, and it involves a lot of spit. Also, very funny.
