Over the weekend we visited a place called the Smith Memorial Playhouse. It's literally a mansion that has been turned into a child's dream come true. A house full of toys with an amazing playground in the backyard. Amaya thoroughly enjoyed it, and I think she was even a bit overwhelmed. At one point we had to change her diaper, and she threw her first tantrum about having to leave a place. Not only do kids love this place, but the best part: it's free!
The Smith Playhouse has a giant slide where you slide down on a burlap sack. Amaya and her papa enjoyed the ride!
In the basement of the Smith Playhouse, they have a pretend city with cars, tricycles, roadways, and even a city hall!
